Box 20-7 was dispatched this morning at 0725 for a reported motor vehicle accident on State Route 147 north of Tarry Hall Road. Engine 20 responded with three personnel and was advised that a single commercial vehicle struck a rock out cropping and spilled its load on the roadway and that there were no injuries. Engine 20 arrived and found a load truck blocking the roadway with damage to the cab and the cargo box. The driver was uninjured and the cargo of saw dust and animal feed was spread across the roadway. Fire Police 20 with two, Utility 20 with two and Special Unit 20 with three responded to assist with traffic and debris removal. Pennsylvania State Police, PennDOT and Peifer’s Towing assisted.
