Truck 20 was dispatched at 13:14 on January 25, 2022, along with multiple units from northern Dauphin County, Northumberland County and Schuylkill County to assist on a Structure fire. Truck 20 responded with 5 personnel. Units from Pillow Fire Company arrived to find fire on the second floor and attic. Truck 20 arrived and placed portable ladders and opened up the attic and second floor to ventilate smoke to allow interior crews to access the fire. Tanker 20 was dispatched at 13:31 to assist with hauling water to the scene. Crews remained on the scene to assist with overhaul. The Tanker returned at 16:52 and the Truck remained on the scene until 1839.
Truck 35 from the Linglestown Fire Company was transferred to Station 20 to cover while Truck 20 was operating. Thank you to the Station 35 crew for transferring and covering us.
