The Millersburg Fire Company is pleased to announce that the refurbishment of Engine 20 is complete and is now officially back in service. Thanks to the Apparatus Committee, Fire Line Equipment and all of our member who put time in to this project. We also thank Millersburg Boro, Upper Paxton Township and everyone in our community for their support of the fire company!
Engine 20 was placed Out of Service on April 20, 2020 and taken to Fire Line Equipment in New Holland for a refurbishment to extend the service life of the engine. Major work included corrosion control and repainting, replacement of compartment doors, replacement of seat belts, installation of Air Pack brackets, changing all the lighting to LED, installation of reflective striping on the front and back, equipment mounting, replacement of the air conditioning system, repairing of the pump discharge valves, and electrical system improvements.
